The binary releases contain precompiled versions of all automatic cinema parts: The controller, the player, the remote and the server. Please note, that you need to install the ImageMagick binaries included in the distribution first.
Fire up the Server first and edit some content with the remote. Use a password and username as you like. Start the controller and edit the URL. Use the same as written in the server output, using the same username and password. Finally, start the player.
If you know what you are doing and you have ImageMagick already installed on your system, open the AC Sever.app bundle and edit the _config.js file in the Contents/Resouces/Server subfolder. Refer to the server page for more information.
It is also possible to compile the controller on Android and iOS devices with the Apache Cordova Framework, although the upload process of media will not work since there is no drag and drop functionality on mobile devices. The playback system is tested on iOS. There are plans to publish these components on iTunes or the Google Play store.

The full stack runs currently only on OSX and Linux. Precompiled binaries exist for OSX. The controller runs platform independent in every major browser. It is untested in Internet Explorers.
